A visit to China Industry Museum: century-old history of manufacturing in China

A total of 800,000 free visits were made to China Industry Museum in the past three years. The museum is located in Shenyang, an industrial city in northeast China's Liaoning province.

According to a staff member of the museum, the museum owns the world's largest caliber cast tube, the world's largest ultrahigh voltage circuit breaker shell and the world's largest vertical lathe beam casting.

Focusing on equipment manufacturing, this comprehensive industrial museum is divided into nine areas including areas dedicated to the general history, machine tool, forging, metallurgy, electromechanical, vehicle, car model exhibition and Tiexi (a district of Shenyang).
