Nishida founded the Japanese students’ union at BLCU, aiming to attract more Japanese students to learn about China, as well as for Chinese students to understand Japan. Besides this role as an international student, Nishida now is also a crosstalk performer. When he tried to find a way to improve his Chinese, he found the art of crosstalk very interesting. After listening to Mr. Ding Guangquan’s lecture, he fell in love with this Chinese traditional art performance.
