Gigi Chao (趙式芝)

Born in 1979 in Hong Kong, Gigi Chao is the daughter of Hong Kong billionaire Cecil Chao and Hong Kong actress Kelly Yao Wei.

In 2006, Chao was pictured dating her female partner Sean around Lan Kwai Fong in Hong Kong. Since then, her sexual orientation became a hot topic. In 2012, Chao responded publicly in an open letter printed in the South China Morning Post saying that she is lesbian, and married Sean Eav in April 2012 in France.

However, her father still considered her single, and in 2012 offered HK$500 million (US$64.5 million) to any man who could convince his lesbian daughter to marry him. Two years later, Cecil Chao doubled his offer. But Gigi Chao said she was "comfortable and satisfied with my life with Sean, a woman".
