As an important place of origin of Chinese civilization and Chinese nation, Henan was the political and economic center of China for a long time in history and played an important role in the development of the ancient Silk Road.

Cultural exchange will be a key field in the construction of the "One Belt and One Road". Henan is famous for its long history, brilliant culture, picturesque landscape, tourism sites such as the Longmen Grottoes, Yin Dynasty ruins, as well as Shaolin Kung Fu. Henan province will deepen the exchange and cooperation with countries along the "Belt and Road" in the fields of culture, tourism, education, medicine, technology and human resources, so as to promote mutual understanding.
