Snail outbreak causes huge economic loss to farmers

Villagers from Dongming county of Heze, Shandong province reported that recently they found a great amount of snails in the cornfield. A lot of corns have been eaten, which caused villagers enormous losses. Some other counties nearby are also suffering from the problem. Regular pesticides could not kill the snails, so the villagers have to catch them by hands.
