    Press center for China's V-Day parade opens
    The press center for China’s V-Day parade on September 3 is officially opened on Aug. 27 at the Media Center Hotel of Beijing. (People.cn/Kong Defang)

    The press center for China's V-Day parade on September 3 is officially opened on Aug. 27 at the Media Center Hotel of Beijing.

    The center will provide a series of services to reporters from both home and aboard, including accepting applications from reporters, arranging interviews, providing convenient information service and giving technical support.

    Its website, kzjn70.cn, and official WeChat account, kzjn7O has been launched to share information about interviews, press conferences and other events.

    The press center has published contact numbers for foreign reporters, which are +86 10 6852 1200, and +86 10 6852 1300.The numbers for reporters from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan are +86 10 6852 1600 and +86 10 6852 1700.

    It will be the first time for China to hold a military parade to commemorate the end of World War II and the victory of the war of its resistance against the Japanese invasion.A total of 12,000 troops, 500 pieces of equipment, and nearly 200 aircraft will march.
