The first China-developed turbofan regional jet aircraft ARJ21-700 recently carried out demonstration flight in a base in Chengdu, southwest China's Sichuan province.

ARJ21-700 aircraft is new turbofan regional aircraft for short-range (2225 to 3700 km) flights, including the basic type, cargo type and business type, which will be mainly applied in the airlines of the big cities to its surroundings. Its performance is in full compliance with international airworthiness standards.
