Guiyang makes efforts to build 'capital of world crowdfunding'

Guiyang, capital of southwest China's Guizhou province, is making great efforts to build the 'capital of world crowdfunding' and the world's unique financial ecosystem.

Liu Wenxian, chairman of the crowdfunding financial exchanges in Guiyang city, called for more domestic and global crowdfunding platforms to gather at Guiyang for cooperation on August 12, 2015.

"Guiyang will stick to two bottom lines, which means protecting the ecological environment and keeping a certain growth rate. All-out efforts have been made in the city’s big data industry, and with this driving force, new plan of the Internet finance and finance of science and technology were official issued in March 2014," said Wang Yuxiang, deputy mayor of Guiyang.

Guiyang crowdfunding financial exchanges was formally launched in May of this year. As the city which continuously enjoyed the fastest GDP growth for two years, Guiyang is recognized as the most promising one in the top 100 cities by the Economist. The World Crowdfunding Conference will be held here this October.
