    Lhasa-Shigatse Railway: The first extension line of the world's highest railway

    The railway linking Lhasa and Shigatse is the first extension line of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway. After its operation, the journey from Lhasa to Shigatse has been shortened from seven hours to three hours, which has significantly improved the travel condition of local people.
