    Bringing Qiang embroidery from boudoir to market

    Yang Huazhen is a fourth generation embroiderer of this intangible culture heritage -- Qiang embroidery. For years, she has helped more than 1,000 local craftswomen bring their creations down from the mountains to the markets. In this way, both Yang and the artists can make profits and increase their living standards.Qiang is an ethnic group in China and its people lives mainly in the counties of the Aba Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan province.
