    A single mother and her blind pianist son

    Weng Ning, 32, is a blind pianist in southwest China's Chongqing city. He had glaucoma and almost lost the eyesight five years ago. Quitting the job, Weng Ning started to play piano from the very beginning.

    Ning Xiu'e, his mother, accompanies Weng Ning and became his eyes. Weng Ning had practiced to play piano about 8 hours a day in the past 4 years. One year ago, he passed the level 10 of the piano examination. Now he acts as a music accompanist in a chorus.
