People from the Yi ethnic group sing and dance to celebrate the Torch Festival in Puge county, Southwest China’s Sichuan province, Aug 5, 2015. The festival, which usually falls on June 24 in the lunar calendar, is the biggest festival of the Yi people. During the festival, they will hold wrestling and bullfighting events in the village. The focus of the torch festival is at night. People either light torches to pray for a good harvest or light bonfires and host parties with singing and dancing. The Torch Festival in Puge county is known for being mysterious and primitive, attracting nearly 100,000 residents to the celebration this year. (Photo: China News Service/Liu Zhongjun)
