59 year-old John Russell Houser stood up shortly into the film Trainwreck and opened fire on the audience. The shooting took place yesterday in a Lafayette, Louisiana movie theater. Houser had a well-documented history with mental illness and violence, having been banished by his wife and forbidden to see his family. Faced with police pushing in on his position, Houser turned the gun on himself.
