Chinese artists create 'fall of an angel' (5)

Sun Yuan and Peng Yu are two artists from Beijing who are famous for their art works made of super realistic materials like human body fat. Their latest work "Angel", which features an old lady prostrating on the ground with featherless wings on her back, has shocked many people again. This piece of work is made of silica gel, fiberglass, and stainless steel etc.

The two artists explain that their work is to illustrate the tension and changes between surrealism and realism. The angel who used to have magic powers turns out to be useless, not to mention helping others or fulfilling the God's will.
