Manchuan Town of Shanyang County, Shaanxi Province used to be a border town that connected Qin, Jin, Wu, and Chu, four states of the Warring States Period; during the Southern Song Dynasty, this town was the one that Song and Jin kept fighting for; one of the crucial battle of the Red Fourth Army also took place in this town.
