    Bank replaces villager’s 55,600 yuan burned in fire

    A villager’s cash worth 80,000 yuan was burned in a fire in his house in Lutong, east China’s Zhejiang province. Fortunately she retrieved part of the burnt banknotes. The owner took the remains of the banknotes to Tonglu branch of Bank of China which examined the remains and paid back 55,600 yuan to the owner. (Photo/Xinhua)
