Quanzhou Shaolin Monastery is also known as the Southern Shaolin Monastery, located at Qingyuan Mountain, Quanzhou city of Fujian province. It is the birthplace of Southern Shaolin martial art. Quanzhou Shaolin Monastery is famous for its Chinese boxing skills. Since Ming and Qing Dynasties, Southern Shaolin martial art has spread to Taiwan, Hongkong, Macao, and places in Southeast Asia. Like the Northern Shaolin Monastery in Henan, Southern Shaolin Monastery has great influence worldwide.
