Love story of Xu Yuelian and her vegetative husband (9)

Photo taken on April 28, 2015 shows pickled bean curd and brined vegetables Xu Yuelian eats as dishes everyday at her house in Jishui County, east China's Jiangxi Province. Yang Zubin and Xu Yuelian, both 34 years old, are a couple in Nanpo Village of Huangqiao Township in Jishui County of Jiangxi Province. Yang survived a severe traffic accident and ended up in vegetative state in 2012. Though being beset by perils, Xu didn't give up on her husband and her family. With Xu's utmost care, Yang opened his eyes and regained some of his consciousness in 2014, which is rare in such circumstances.
