Computers and mobiles are now an indispensable part of daily life. But have you ever noticed that your grandparents are also trying to catch up with the "trend" and to make progress during this digital era?

Xiao Ligong is an 82 year old network "celebrity" with his own website. Before he retired, he was a senior engineer. After his retirement in 1994, he wanted to carry on with his scientific career. But with the development of the network, working without the Internet became unrealistic and time-consuming. In 1998, Xiao borrowed his first computer and started to work on computers. His website opened on Feb. 28, 2002. Xiao was awarded the title of "China's senior newsmaker of the Year" in 2005.

With the popularization of the Internet, there are many more seniors like Xiao Ligong who make great use of the network and enrich their lives.
