Xin Cheng Noodle House is a noodle restaurant with 60 years history in Beijing. After the news that it would be closed for good was released on March 25, a great number of old customers flooded into the small restaurant for the "last meal." Xin Cheng Noodle House started off as a private restaurant, then turned into a state-owned restaurant in 1956. It again became privately-owned after the Reform and Opening-up. As the rental for the restaurant is becoming too high, the owner decided to close it for good.
