    Tajiao Master: Ma Rongtang (4)

    Ma Rongtang instructs his apprentices to practise Tajiao skill, a traditional martial art of the Hui ethnic group, in Xiangshui Township of Jingyuan County, northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, March 19, 2015. Originated in the Tang Dynasty (618-907), Tajiao is a self-defense skill that has been listed as one of the autonomous region's intangible cultural heritages. 63-year-old Ma, the fourth generation successor of this traditional martial art, has trained more than 100 young people over the past few years.
