ZTE terminal Xi'an production base was completed and put into operation in Chang'an Communications Industry Park in Xi'an High-tech Zone on Feb. 9. Dong Jun, Mayor of Xi'an, Hou Weigui, chairman of ZTE attended the commissioning ceremony.

ZTE terminal Xi'an production base is the largest production base of smart terminals in west China and also the largest terminal production base of ZTE. The first phase project was settled in July 2014 in Xi'an High-tech Zone. It has completed only six months later, with an annual capacity of 15 million terminals, the output value of about 10 billion yuan. Meanwhile, the second phase will start right now. In three years, the capacity of the production will reach 45 million, and the output value will be about 30 billion yuan. The project will effectively promote ZTE's competitors, suppliers and supporting enterprises to move and gather in Xi'an, form a comprehensive breakthrough in the smart terminal industry chain.
