Xi'an High-tech Zone held a special anti-drug work meeting on Jan. 20, during which, it issued a Plan of Anti-drug Struggle of Xi'an High-tech Zone.

According to the plan, Xi'an High-tech Zone will launch an anti-drug battle from January 20 to April 15, during which it will crack down on the drug related gangs, severely punish drug related criminals, restore orders in the areas and places where drug problems are serious, send a group of drug addicts to compulsory treatment, severely punish a number of ineffective legal staff during the anti-drug combat, and the one who broke the law by acting as the "umbrella" for drug related criminals.

In order to ensure the result of the operations, Xi'an High-tech Zone established a special leadership team responsible for the plan, organization and coordination work.
