    In the Chinese calendar, the solar year is divided into 24 solar terms, each of which signifies a natural phenomenon or indicates a special astronomical event. The 24 solar terms provide guidance for agrarian activities. The 24 solar terms include Lichun, Yushui, Jingzhe, Chunfen, Qingming, Guyu, Lixia, Xiaoman, Mangzhong, Xiazhi, Xiaoshu, Dashu, Liqiu, Chushu, Bailu, Qiufen, Hanlu, Shuangjiang, Lidong, Xiaoxue, Daxue, Dongzhi, Xiaohan, Dahan.
