    Hangzhou is the capital city of Southeast China's Zhejiang province and has a history of more than 2,000 years. Dubbed "Paradise under Heaven," the city is well-known across the globe for its splendid natural scenery, numerous historic sites, fine silk and Longjing tea. The West Lake, with its beautiful natural surroundings and long history, is undoubtedly Hangzhou's most renowned attraction. The lake was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2011.
