(Pu'er Daily)--The inaugural ceremony of Pu'er Branch of China Tieta Co., Ltd. (China Tieta) was held on December 26, 2014. Zhang Ruolei, deputy mayor of Pu'er municipal people's government inaugurated the company along with the leaders of China Tieta Yunnan Branch and China Tieta Pu'er Branch.

The company's inauguration marks a new development stage for the information communication infrastructure construction of Pu'er city. The company will undertake the construction, maintenance and operation of pylons of China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom.

According to the source, over the years, for reasons such as market competition, enterprise benefit and investment difficulty, the three telecom operators have constructed base station pylons separately which caused the uneven distribution of pylon resources, the “excessive saturation” of signals in hotspots and the “inadequate coverage” of signals in remote areas, thus affecting communication quality.

With the massive construction of 4G network, the three operators will all face the pressure from the substantial increase in base stations and pylon construction. After its establishment, China Tieta Pu'er Branch will spearhead the formulation of the city's special plan for mobile base station construction, and incorporate it into the overall plan for urban and rural development.
