    3. Fuzimiao, Nanjing, Jiangsu

    Fuzimiao (Confucius Temple) was originally built during the Song Dynasty and is situated on the north bank of the Qinhuai River. Today, the entire area around the Temple are covered by a series of tourist shops, snack bars, restaurants and entertainment arcades in "Ming" and "Qing" style architecture. The traditional snacks here are the biggest attraction for the tourists. There are more than 80 kinds of traditional Chinese snacks inherited since the Six Dynasties period.
