    Life and love: a close look at people with leukemia

    On the sixth floor of a new ward building in a hospital in Jinan, east China's Shandong province, there is a hematology department. Nurses and doctors walk in a hurry in the corridor. In a ward, unique isolation hoods separate sick children from normal world.

    Families will fall in desperation when their children are diagnosed with leukemia. Life or death will be a difficult dilemma for them. Children suffering from leukemia hope to stay alive, pay off debts for their fathers and to take care of their mothers.
