Wang Huaijian is an ordinary farmer, obsessed with playing the part of the "Monkey King". He has made six related films - in which he plays the role of the "Monkey King" - out of his own pocket. Wang said that his dream is to produce a blockbuster, but how blockbusting it would be he could not tell. Now, he lives with his wife in a rented room in Jinan in east China's Shandong province.
