The site of Weiyang Palace in Chang’an City of the Han Dynasty is one of the seven sites in Shaanxi Province.

The Silk Road "Routes Network of Chang'an-Tianshan Corridor" has already become a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The site of the Daming Palace in Chang’an City in the Tang Dynasty is one of the seven sites in Shaanxi Province.

Built in 634 AD, the Daming Palace was reduced to ruins in 904 AD. In fact, 17 emperors of the Tang Dynasty once lived in the palace with an area of 3.2 square kilometers, about 4.5 times larger than the Forbidden City in Beijing. Deemed a typical representative of the Tang Dynasty's court system and its architectural art, the Daming Palace was a masterpiece in ancient Chinese court architecture as well as a representative site of the ancient Chang'an City during the Tang Dynasty, which was the eastern starting point of the Silk Road in its heyday.
