    President Xi Jinping hosted the welcome ceremony for visiting Uzbek President Islam Karimov at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Aug. 19, 2014. Authorized by the Central Military Commission, the new uniform for the guard of honor of the PLA has come into use from Aug. 1, 2014.
