| On June 18, Public Security Department of Jiangsu announced that the province will send 22,000 police officers to patrol 965 populated positions every day. They are equipped with 1,900 guns and 3,200 police cars. Armed patrol in Jiangsu began in March and has now been expanded to almost every city.
