The 24 funeral urns with the remains of soldiers of Chinese Expeditionary Force and the graveyard dirt were laid to rest at the Tombs of Chinese Expeditionary Force, Guoshang Cemetery in Tengchong County, southwest China's Yunnan Province on June 12, 2014.

1,000 people from all walks of life, including veterans, descendants of Chinese Expeditionary Force, overseas communities, Taiwan citizen groups and locals gathered to pay tribute to the deceased soldiers in front of the monument to the heroes of Chinese Expeditionary Force at the Guoshang Cemetery, which literally means "Elegy of the Nation Cemetery".
