5.5-magnitude quake jolts Hunchun, NE China's Jilin Province

BEIJING, Oct. 25 (Xinhua) -- A 5.5-magnitude earthquake jolted Hunchun in Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, northeast China's Jilin Province, at 7:45 p.m. Saturday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 43.08 degrees north latitude and 131.10 degrees east longitude. The earthquake struck at a depth of 560 km, the CENC said.
