G20 Young Entrepreneurs' Alliance Global Summit: Jia Wei honored as 'Female Leader for Africa-China Collaboration'
Recently, the G20 Young Entrepreneurs' Alliance Global Summit was held in South Africa, where the highly anticipated Women Leaders Forum attracted hundreds of female entrepreneurs from South Africa and other nations.
Jia Wei, the Chairperson of the G20 Young Entrepreneurs' Alliance China Council, delivered a keynote speech at the event and was named "Female Leader for Africa-China Collaboration," becoming the first female recipient of this landmark accolade in the African business community.
The award was presented by Young Entrepreneurs South Africa (YESA), the country's most influential national youth entrepreneurship organization. The "Female Leader for Africa-China Collaboration" award recognized Jia's outstanding contributions to economic and trade cooperation between China and Africa, particularly in empowering female entrepreneurs through capacity building and cross-border development.

As one of the two keynote speakers at the forum, Jia delivered a speech titled "From the Great Wall to the Cape of Good Hope: How Women Become Trailblazers in China-Africa Cooperation," sharing her unique insights on the role of women in China-African collaboration. She noted that the journey from China's Great Wall to South Africa's Cape of Good Hope symbolizes not only a geographical span but also a bridge for cultural and commercial exchange.

Jia added that female entrepreneurs, with their distinctive perspectives and resilient spirit, are increasingly becoming a driving force in advancing China-Africa cooperation. She called for more female entrepreneurs to transcend geographical and industrial boundaries and actively engage in meaningful collaboration across key sectors, including the digital economy, green development, and technological innovation.
