Chinese premier says ready to join Canada to boost economic globalization, free trade

NEW YORK, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Premier Li Qiang said here on Tuesday that China is ready to enhance communication and coordination with Canada to jointly promote economic globalization and free trade, and work toward building an open world economy.
Li made the remarks during his meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney on the sidelines of the general debate of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly.
