Beautiful handcrafted Chinese black paper-lacquered wood fans are the pinnacle of traditional Chinese craftsmanship. These fans embody a unique level of artistry, featuring distinctive paintings and calligraphy. During the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), they were presented to the imperial court by artisans in Hangzhou. Known as "a fan and half an umbrella," these fans are celebrated for their rainproof and sun-resistant qualities, offering both functional and aesthetic value.
