Vuelta cycling challenge to be held in Beijing in June

BEIJING, April 8 (Xinhua) -- The Cycling Challenge competition of the 2023 Vuelta a Espana will be held in Changping District, Beijing from June 17 to 18, organizers said.

The event includes four categories: Circuit Race, Team Time Trial, Family Fun Ride and Road Race.

The Circuit Race and Team Time Trial both feature a 5 km course with a total of five laps, covering a distance of 26.2 km. The Family Fun Ride features a 5 km course that riders have to complete within one hour. The Road Race covers 95.5 km in total.
