    Japan's national security advisor to visit China

    BEIJING, Dec. 5 (Xinhua) -- Head of Japan's national security council Shigeru Kitamura will pay a visit to China from Dec. 5 to 7, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying announced here Thursday.

    Shigeru Kitamura's visit is at the invitation of Yang Jiechi, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Central Committee.

    The two sides will hold a new round of high-level political dialogue to exchange views on bilateral ties and important issues of common concern.
