Recently, the comprehensive management engineering of river environment in the central urban area of Pu'er City, which started in November 2014, has been basically completed. Through the implementation of five engineering systems, including flood control, pollution interception, ecological vegetation restoration, riverside roads and bridges, water regime prediction and monitoring, the project strengthens the urban disaster reduction capacity, and improves the ecological environment along the river banks, which becomes a new urban landscape.
