@China: Mom's "Special Pickles"

Located in Anqing city, East China's Anhui Province, Yuexi County is a state-level poverty-stricken county in the hinterland of the Dabie Mountains. The households there maintain a more traditional way of life as the county is located in remote mountains. In the past, every family pickled vegetable because of lack of food and the need to preserve food for a long time. People in Yuexi have gradually shaken off poverty, and enjoy greatly-improved living conditions. Pickles disappeared, but the feelings that home-made pickles represent will always be remembered!
