Pu’er’s Five Projects Included in List for the Declaration of the 5th Batch of Intangible Cultural Heritage on a National Level

Recently, the Yunnan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism has issued a public notice that is aimed at proposing and recommending 30 projects to declare the 5th batch of intangible cultural heritage on a national level.

The five projects are Ceremonial Music and Dance of Xuan Fu Department (under a ministry), white elephant and red deer dance of Dai ethnic minority group, Drama of Killing (an old and rare kind), Bai Ethnic Minority’s Great Opera, and Gyro beating.
