On Sept. 25, Pu’er Ecological Civilization and Green Development Seminar was held at Pu’er College. Wei Xing, secretary of CPC Committee of Pu’er City attended the seminar and made a speech. John Jr. Cobb, a world-famous thinker on post-modernism, ecological economist, founding dean of Sino-American Research Institute on Post-modern Development of the United States of America, academician of National Academy of Humanities and Sciences of USA, and specially-appointed professor of Central Socialist College of China, gave a lecture at the seminar.
