Recently, a survey on the population and distribution area of wild tea trees has initially carried out in Jingdong Nature Reserve of Pu'er City, which further strengthened the protection and management of wild tea tree resources in Wuliang Mountain Nature Reserve.

After the survey, it is expected that the information of distribution, area, quantity and age of wild tea trees in Jingdong jurisdiction of Wuliang Mountain Nature Reserve will be acquired, and the distribution of the largest wild tea tree king in Wuliang Mountain Nature Reserve will be ascertained.
