The Pu'er section of Yuxi-Mohan Railway will be completed and operated by the end of 2021. The inter-city train of the Pu'er section will be centered on Pu'er Station and 9 pairs of the trains will operate between Mojiang, Ninger, Simao and Jinghong every day, with about-100-minute one-way operating time.

Pu'er is striving for operating a train between Simao and Kunming which will take three hours to Kunming.
