    China in 70 years: Another bridge over the Yangtze River

    With the closure of Shishou Yangtze River Highway Bridge on April 9, 2019, the new bridge is expected to open to traffic in late September.

    At present, more than 200 modern bridges are under construction or completed on the Yangtze River. Regarding highway bridges, China is at the forefront in terms of scale and technology, laying a solid foundation for rapid economic and social development.
