The overall plan for Xiangyang Airport (2018 Version) has been approved.
The approved plan includes short-term targets for 2030 and long-term targets for 2050.
Per details, the plan includes the following short-term targets: annual passenger throughput of 5 million person times, cargo throughput of 20,000 tons, and 42,782 times of takeoff and landing of passenger aircrafts. Meanwhile, the long-term targets include an annual passenger throughput of 10 million person times, cargo throughput of 58,000 tons, and 79,273 times of takeoff and landing of passenger aircrafts.
