At 9:00 p.m. on October 30th, fans of Jin Yong, who live in Xiangyang, took white candles and went onto the wall of the ancient city, lighting the city with candles to commemorate the knight-errant scholar who had never been to Xiangyang in his life, but depicted Xiangyang in many of his novels.

Xiangyang, appears in many of Jin Yong's classical swordsman novels, such as Legend of the Condor Heroes and Brave Archer and His Mate, etc.
