    Top Ten Historical Landscape of Pu’er — Jingmaishan Ancient Tea Forest

    The Jingmaishan Ancient Tea Forest of Lahu Autonomous County is the best-reserved, oldest and largest artificial ancient tea forest of the world. As the root and origin of the world’s tea culture, it is honored the “natural museum of tea trees”. The intact tree genes will serve as a significant database of species for the future development of the tea industry. At present, the Pu’er Jingmaishan ancient tea tree forest has an area of 28,000 mu, with over 3.2 million trees. The contiguous tea-picking area is over 16,100 mu, with an average annual output of over 270 tons.
