On August 22, Xianshou Pavilion on Xianshou Mountain in the south of downtown Xiangyang was topped out.
Xianshou Pavilion, formerly Xianshan Pavilion, was built in honor of Yang Hu, a general in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. Meng Haoran, Yuan Zhen, Ouyang Xiu and other celebrities wrote poems or essays for the pavilion. It is a key place of interest in Xiangyang.
